Senior Lawyer (Contracts, Procurement and Major Projects)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: HC12 £57,374 - £63,628 per annum
Hours: 37
Location: Hereford

What Will You Be Doing?
You will provide legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues across contracts, procurement and major projects, working closely with council departments to coordinate, problem‑solve and manage a large number of instructions.
About You
* Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive, a fellow of CiLEX, with a strong knowledge of contract and commercial law.
* Experience in subsidy control, company law, procurement law and drafting contracts including JCT or NEC4.
* Knowledge of Data Protection legislation is an advantage.
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage own caseload.
* Excellent communication, analytical skills and ability to deputise for senior team members.
