Key duties of the Master Technician role include:
11. Undertaking comprehensive vehicle examinations, repairs, and maintenance adhering to manufacturer guidelines across a variety of makes and models
12. Collaborating effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and transparent communication regarding vehicle progress
13. Discussing technical issues and repair options directly with customers when needed
14. Providing a courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient customer experience that reflects the dealership’s standards
15. Maintaining and enhancing technical skills through continuous learning and professional development
16. Adopting innovative work methods to improve workshop efficiency and productivity
17. Ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed, addressing safety issues proactively

Requirements for the Master Technician role:
19. Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
20. Proven experience as a Master Technician across multiple makes and models, or a diagnostic technician on their pathway to accreditation
21. Strong diagnostic skills and a good understanding of modern vehicle systems
22. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to colleagues and customers
23. A commitment to quality and a high attention to detail
24. Ambition to complete or already hold Master Technician accreditation
