Stock Controller Assistant
Main Duties
The assistant will support the Stock Controller with general administration duties within the office, with some time required in the warehouse.
Key Skills
* Checking in inbound deliveries, verifying delivery notes against purchase orders, and ensuring accuracy of deliveries booked onto the system. Raising queries with suppliers in a timely manner.
* Matching delivery notes against invoices and investigating discrepancies.
* Managing the physical locations of all SKUs.
* Carrying out weekly stock takes in line with company policy.
* Investigating and reporting discrepancies, losses, and damages.
* Controlling best before dates of stock and minimizing write-offs.
* Processing delivery ticket confirmations and credits as required, along with ad-hoc cashier duties.
* Managing and resolving outstanding stock issues.
* Taking orders for telesales and assisting with telephone inquiries.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience in the drinks industry is desirable but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and record-keeping.
* Stock control experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of 'Trinity' systems.
* Accuracy in data checking and record maintenance.
* Good teamwork skills, working with office staff, drivers, and warehousing staff.
Additional Information
Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, 37.5 hours per week.
