SEND Teaching Assistant (KS3 & KS4) - Full Time - Leeds

Veritas Education is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Leeds to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant, specialising in Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting students with additional needs.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEND including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Assist in delivering tailored interventions and support plans in collaboration with the SENCO.
Promote an inclusive learning environment and support positive student engagement.
Track progress and contribute to EHCP targets and behaviour support plans.
Requirements:
Experience supporting students with SEND at KS3 and/or KS4.
Calm, patient and empathetic approach to working with young people.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with teaching staff.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential).
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
