Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's global power and energy strategy to support a multi-gigawatt AI infrastructure pipeline.
- Lead utility engagement, grid access, interconnection strategy, and power delivery planning across multiple markets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with utilities, transmission operators, regulators, and key energy stakeholders.
- Drive powered land, site selection, and campus activation decisions in partnership with development and real estate teams.
- Lead generation partnerships, energy procurement, and evaluation of PPAs, behind‑the‑meter solutions, microgrids, and energy storage strategies.
- Assess power availability, transmission constraints, infrastructure economics, and market attractiveness for future expansion.
- Partner closely with engineering, finance, legal, development, and executive leadership teams to support infrastructure investment decisions.
- Represent the company with governments, regulators, utilities, infrastructure investors, and strategic partners.
- Ensure the company maintains a scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective energy platform capable of supporting high‑density AI compute environments.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in power, energy, or infrastructure strategy.
- Experience within hyperscale infrastructure, data centers, AI infrastructure, digital infrastructure, or large industrial power users.
- Proven track record securing and managing power capacity measured in hundreds of megawatts to multiple gigawatts.
- Deep understanding of utility relationships, grid access, interconnection, transmission, distribution, and power delivery pathways.
- Experience with energy procurement, PPAs, generation partnerships, and infrastructure economics.
- Strong experience supporting powered land, site selection, campus development, or large‑scale infrastructure programs.
- Ability to operate across both strategy and execution, with ownership of complex infrastructure initiatives.
- Experience working with senior external stakeholders, including utilities, regulators, governments, investors, and strategic partners.
- Strong commercial acumen and executive‑level communication skills.
- Global or multi‑regional experience, ideally across North America and Europe, is preferred.
