Overview
As a Community Lead within Barchester's Residential Care Homes, you'll lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers, ensuring person-centered care that respects residents' independence, privacy, dignity and choice. You will provide a safe, reassuring and happy environment for residents and their families.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the care team, delivering person-centred care aligned to residents’ needs and preferences.
* Perform clinical tasks such as recording observations (weight and blood pressure) and carrying out simple wound dressing procedures.
* Build key relationships within the home and with external partners.
About You
* Senior-level care experience with a track record of supervising others and providing clinical care for older people.
* A Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, plus a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
* Strong communication skills, integrity, enthusiasm and a commitment to a vibrant, supportive culture that empowers staff and puts residents and families first.
