We're looking for a skilled Craftsperson Painter to deliver high quality cyclical decorating across our properties - someone who cares about good workmanship, great service and doing the job right. What you'll be doing You'll play a key part in maintaining our homes by: Completing internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard Carrying out minor pre painting repairs Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe Reporting repairs, defects or safety concerns promptly Sourcing materials efficiently and cost effectively Working closely with colleagues to improve the service Liaising with residents to support a positive customer experience Following Health & Safety, COSHH and lone working procedures Maintaining accurate records on our systems What you'll bring 5 years' painting experience Experience working in customer facing environments General carpentry skills Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and risk assessments A proactive, self motivated approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and flexibility Confident communication skills Full driving licence (essential) NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (desirable) Why join Orwell?
