The Role
You will manage a varied caseload, working on matters such as:
* Asylum and protection claims
* Appeals before the First-tier Tribunal (IAC)
* Human rights applications
You will be responsible for:
* Taking detailed instructions from clients (often via interpreter)
* Drafting legal representations, witness statements, and appeal documents
* Preparing and managing case files in line with SLAB requirements
* Liaising with the Home Office, Tribunal, and other stakeholders
* Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from:
* Qualified solicitors
* Candidates with immigration experience, or
* Candidates from other areas of law looking to retrain in immigration/human rights
You should have:
* Strong drafting and analytical skills
* The ability to manage a busy and demanding caseload
* Excellent client care skills
* Confidence working with vulnerable clients
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Salary
Competitive and dependent on experience.
