Warehouse Supervisor Location: Kidderminster Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time Closing Date: 2nd November 2025 As an IT recycler and supplier of IT Services, the company have overseen more than 3 million devices through the IT lifecycle and, as a result, are perfectly placed to provide their customers with guidance and advice through this complex market. The Role The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, high-quality service/product delivery, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This role involves supervising team members, managing resources, and addressing issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities Ensure warehouse operations (including all orders) consistently meet contractual service levels and performance targets. Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate objectives, updates, and expectations to the team. Train, coach, and develop operational staff to meet company and customer standards. Participate and attend in daily operational huddles and collaborate with cross-functional service teams. Manage people, processes, and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies and relevant legislation. Communicate promptly with Operational Managers regarding any issues impacting service delivery or customer satisfaction. Ensure accurate and timely completion of cycle counts and stock checks. Oversee the efficient picking, packing, and dispatching of orders in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor team and individual performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing feedback and corrective actions as needed. Lead by example, promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and accountability. Maintain high stock accuracy and report any damage to customer goods. Proactively manage risk by enforcing safe working practices and maintaining housekeeping standards. Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and process enhancements. Monitor inventory and supplies; report shortages or needs to management. Competencies and Behaviours Proven experience supervising warehouse teams Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation. Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and warehouse best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage across all levels of staff. High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Valid forklift licence and experience operating MHE (Material Handling Equipment). Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and bonded warehouse controls. Knowledge of bonded warehouse compliance and documentation processes.
