Vehicle Technician Required for Car Dealership in Sidcup, Kent
1. Pay: £40 - £45k Basic + £15k OTE
2. Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota system
Join our client as a Vehicle Technician at their busy dealership in Sidcup, Greater London. Benefits for the Vehicle Technician:
3. Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
4. OTE earning potential of £60,000 or more per year
5. Overtime paid at enhanced rates
6. Monday to Friday working hours, from 8am to 5pm
7. Saturday mornings on a rota, 1 in 4, from 8am to 12.30pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
10. Diagnose and repair a wide range vehicles to manufacturer standards
11. Carry out routine servicing and complex fault diagnostics
12. Complete repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections
13. Ensure service and repair work meets quality standards and targets
14. Advise customers on additional repair or maintenance needs
15. Use the latest diagnostic tools and maintain accurate workshop records
16. Perform vehicle road tests and complete health checks for customers
17. Stay updated with technical information and product updates through ongoing training
Requirments of the Vehicle Technician:
18. IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
19. Proven experience working within a professional automotive service environment
20. Strong diagnostic and repair skills, capable of handling complex work
21. Knowledge of working in a busy main dealership desirable
22. Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving license, minimum 1 year’s driving experience
23. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high workshop standards
