Architectural Technician – Timber Frame

We are a rapidly growing timber‑frame specialist building a portfolio of high‑quality, architecturally led structures. You will be a key partner in developing designs, producing technical drawings and collaborating with manufacturing and site teams to deliver projects that are efficient, buildable and of the highest quality.
Qualifications
* Proven architectural design experience, ideally with timber frame or off‑site construction
* Confidence producing client‑facing presentation material and detailed technical drawings
* Understanding of timber engineering principles and practical construction detailing
* Effective collaboration with workshop, site and office teams
* Proactive and enjoyment of working across multiple projects from concept to completion
Responsibilities
* Develop concept and technical designs for timber frame and equestrian structures
* Produce 2D/3D drawings, visuals and specifications for clients and internal teams
* Prepare detailed manufacturing information, including factory packs and assembly drawings
* Work closely with manufacturing to refine details, improve efficiency and ensure buildability
* Support innovation in timber use and new construction methods
* Coordinate with site teams and external consultants to resolve design queries and ensure compliance
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows
