The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to Senior-level Geo-Environmental Engineer to work across a variety of complex, high-value schemes. You will be part of a forward-thinking technical team that supports the investigation, assessment, and remediation of contaminated land, helping to bring challenging brownfield sites back into sustainable use.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute site investigations (including soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring)
* Prepare and review factual and interpretative reports, risk assessments, and remediation strategies
* Supervise contractors during site works, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Conduct sampling, logging, and in-situ testing to assess contamination and ground conditions
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers to deliver accurate, timely technical input
* Support the development and implementation of remediation methodologies and verification works
* Assist with environmental monitoring and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
* Experience in geo-environmental investigation, remediation, or contaminated land assessment (graduate to senior levels considered)
* Strong understanding of ground conditions, laboratory analysis, and environmental legislation
* Confident report writer with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide
* A proactive and professional approach with a focus on safety and quality

* £30,000 – £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
