Reliability Manager (Monday to Friday days) – £55k plus highly competitive benefits package
Whether you're already in FMCG or food production or a similar fast-paced environment, this role will be ideal for candidates who know they are adding value and want to make their mark and feel their contribution is seen. This site, as part of a larger organisation, allows for that visibility with a Senior Leadership Team that have developed an inclusive and positive culture.
You will be joining an established organisation with opportunities for career progression through structured training and succession planning. Strong branded and own label product range with multiple long-standing customers.
Responsibilities
* Keeping lines running smoothly and as always, looking for opportunities to reduce downtime.
* Ensuring structured maintenance plans are in place.
* Using root cause analysis to dig into breakdowns and downtime, uncovering trends and driving real improvements.
* Taking a detailed, data-driven approach to tracking and improving equipment reliability.
* Making sure the CMMS is up to date and used effectively.
* Leading and developing a direct report.
* Ensuring all engineering work meets high standards for food safety, health & safety, and compliance.
* Staying ahead of spare parts and inventory needs.
* Working closely with production, always ensuring open lines of communication.
Qualifications / What you will have covered
* Engineering experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similarly fast-moving environment.
* Some hands-on management or supervisory experience, or are you ready to take that next step?
* Knowledge of the maintenance routines required in manufacturing.
* A down to earth and practical approach.
* A great team player who leads by example and works well across departments.
* Ideally electrically biased but not essential. If you have a mechanical background training can be provided.
* Confident using CMMS systems and comfortable with a reliability-led approach.
* A full UK driving licence.
