You will take customer enquiries, break them down, cost them properly, and turn them into clear, competitive quotes. You will work across composite and metallic assemblies, supporting projects that land in sectors like aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport, and energy.

What are you responsible for?

Speaking directly with customers to understand what they need

Building accurate cost models, estimates and produce detailed quotations

Acting as the link between customers and internal teams

Working closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality
*
Tracking project costs and compare quoted vs actual performance

Supporting bids, tenders, and customer reviews

Helping qualify new opportunities and shape future work

Contributing to forecasting, budgets, and continuous improvement
What background do you need?

Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally customer-facing
*
Strong commercial awareness. You understand cost, margin, and risk
*
Knowledge of composite or metallic manufacturing processes would be ideal
*
Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and presentations
*
Clear communication skills. You can hold your own with customers and internal teams
*
A proactive mindset. You take ownership and get things done
*
A degree in engineering helps, but hands-on experience matters more.
