Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.

This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. WithYou provides free and confidential support, without judgement, to more than 100,000 people every year experiencing challenges with drugs, alcohol and mental health across England and Scotland.Our name reflects who we are - a positive place where people can progress, connect with others and get friendly, expert help in a way that's right for them.Our staff team changes lives. Join our team as Recovery Worker in Shrewsbury.Our team in Shrewsbury are looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you. As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year. Please note, we have 2 x FTC until 31st March 2026 and 1 x Permanent position available.As part of this role, you will be required to work on a Saturday between the hours of 9am - 5pm on a rotational basis. Hours worked during this time will be toiled between Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector.
You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
have some experience of working in a health, social care or related setting
be comfortable using IT and digital media
able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
