The post holder will lead and manage the team responsible for debt and cash collection. The post holder will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the Commercial Directorate by ensuring the efficient collection of debts and managing outstanding accounts. You will work closely with self-paying private patients, insurers, other debt agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure income is received in a timely manner and that all financial transactions are accurately processed in line with NHS financial policies.
The post holder should be highly motivated, knowledgeable about the private practice business, have excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, and be able to work efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree Level Education or equivalent experience
2. Supervisory Experience
3. Experience in Debt Collection and Finance Roles
4. Ability to work under your own initiative
Desirable Criteria:
1. Proven experience in Credit Controller/Debt Collection Role
2. Experience with Compucare System
3. Experience in Activity and Performance Reporting
4. NHS experience
5. Experience with Insurer Contracts
