Job Title: Advanced Engineering Business Manager
Location : Larbert
Our Vision & Why It Matters
At Alexander Dennis, our vision is to lead the evolution of sustainable on-road mass transportation and mobility.
We design, deliver, and support market-leading buses and coaches that help reduce emissions, improve air quality, and keep communities connected. Every role contributes to that mission whether you’re engineering, driving sales, improving production, or supporting our customers.

Your work will support the identification, development and commercialisation of new technology solutions for the next generation of AD products.

We’re seeking someone with strong project management skills, commercial awareness and a structured, analytical approach to technical problem‑solving. You’ll have experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the automotive sector and be confident communicating with stakeholders at every level. You’ll bring a customer‑focused mindset, the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team, and the curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit needed to identify and evaluate emerging technologies.
Bonus if you have:
* Experience using Microsoft Project
* Understanding of manufacturing processes
* Experience with R&D funding applications or early‑stage technology development
* Ability to critically assess technology value propositions
