We are recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging for our well-established client within the food sector.
The Role:
The role will involve managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring all materials meet food safety and quality standards. You will also work closely with production and finance teams to forecast purchasing requirements and maintain an efficient, cost-effective supply chain.
Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within food
2. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
3. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sourcing strategies
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with ERP or inventory systems beneficial)
