About the Project:
This multi-year project involves developing core components of a new pre- and post-trade lifecycle system. As part of a collaborative effort across Europe and Asia, you will contribute to a high-impact, mission-critical platform that will shape the future of trading technology for the client.

Tech Stack:
* Primary language: Kotlin (with a readiness to learn and work in Kotlin if not already familiar)
* Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Container Orchestration: Kubernetes (GKE)
* Data Storage: Cloud SQL (Postgres)
* Messaging & Event-Driven Workflows: Pub/Sub, Kafka

Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and test scalable, mission-critical distributed systems using Kotlin and Java.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Contribute to the architecture and technical design of the new trading platform components.
* Work within a cloud-native environment, leveraging GCP, Kubernetes, and modern development tools.
* Engage in continuous learning and development, particularly around cloud-native architectures and technologies.
* Support ongoing integration, deployment, and operational activities to ensure system stability and performance.
Qualifications
* Strong background in Kotlin or Java backend engineering, with a willingness to learn Kotlin.
* Proven experience designing and building scalable, distributed enterprise systems.
* Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and technologies.
* Prior experience in finance, especially investment banking, is highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-cultural environment.
