SF Recruitment are working with a SME style business in South Derbyshire to recruit for an Accounts Clerk, full time and permanently to join a small close knit team. This role could suit you if you were looking for either full time, or 4 full days work. This role is due to an internal move within the department, reporting into the Management Accountant you will look after the following:
Responsibilities:
1. Manage queries to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
2. Process bank payments
3. Reconcile statements
4. Prepare, send and store invoices
5. Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
6. Identify and address discrepancies
7. Generate weekly reports on the status of accounts payable and receivable
8. Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
