As a Senior Engineer (EUC), you will be a technical expert responsible for delivering engineering excellence across one or more technology domains, providing deep technical insight. Day-to-day, you'll lead the design, implementation and support of complex technology solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability and security.
Responsibilities
* Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development and integration into the team
* Performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for high-impact technical issues
* Taking ownership of technical deliverables and alignment with architectural and strategic standards
* Contributing to technology roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintaining high-quality documentation and knowledge repositories to support operations excellence
* Providing expertise in End User Computing; this role is 37 hours per week and based at any of our main UK locations.
* Shift patterns for this role are between 07:30 - 18:30 and you may be asked to work at specific times. You will be required to participate in an on‑call rota.
* Strong previous experience in designing and supporting VDI solutions using Citrix Virtual Apps
* The ability to integrate VDI platforms with identity services, conditional access policies and secure remote access solutions
* Previous experience automating software packaging, compliance enforcement and telemetry‑based remediation workflows
* In‑depth knowledge of endpoint security controls including BitLocker, Defender for Endpoint, Application Control and Data Loss Prevention
* Previous experience with enterprise‑wide device strategy across desktop, laptop, mobile and AV technologies
* Previous experience technically leading a team
Qualifications
* A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
