As Health & Safety Manager, you will lead the site on all things Health & Safety and report to a Head of Safety who covers all European sites. Your responsibilities include:
1. Building strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by offering guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on all health and safety matters.
2. Embedding a world-class safety culture across the site.
3. Providing independent and expert advice to the site management team on all aspects of health and safety.
4. Developing positive working relationships with trade union representatives and ensuring regular safety review meetings.
5. Leading the site Health and Safety Committee to promote effective communication and shared understanding of roles and responsibilities.
6. Collaborating with the wider health and safety team and senior leadership to ensure a consistent approach across the business.
7. Liaising with external organizations such as regulatory bodies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and improve safety performance.
