Role Purpose:
The Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Operations team at Everest is looking for a DUA Analyst to join the growing division and to be based in London on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The fundamentals of the team are to support the post bind functionality of business processes and procedures, administration and analysis relating to the oversight and governance of Delegated Authority (DA) facilities across Everest platforms, ensuring the business has been processed in compliance with regulatory minimum standards.
The DUA will initially support the UK&I business, and as we grow, there will be opportunities to support broader markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage all incoming Risks written and Premium Bordereaux, working with BPO providers to map and upload bordereaux to the system.
2. Process LBS bordereaux into DA-SATS efficiently, addressing queries as they arise.
3. Ensure new and renewing contracts are mapped within 90 days of inception.
4. Follow up on overdue Risks Written and Premium Bordereaux with brokers, Coverholders, and within Porta.
5. Assist the EGM Credit Control Manager with credit control analysis and tasks relating to Coverholders / MGAs, Consortia, and Lineslips.
6. Support monthly committee reporting and generate reports based on Bordereaux management.
7. Act as the primary contact for BPO provider queries related to bordereaux processing.
8. Assist DUA Team Managers with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
9. Handle internal queries from colleagues and BPO providers.
10. Manage retrieval of missing bordereaux from internal and external sources.
11. Ensure compliance with Employers Liability Insurance Regulation on Bordereaux formats.
12. Oversee Intarga Admin tasks such as chasing outstanding tasks and general system administration.
13. Address queries from Underwriters and other internal stakeholders.
14. Support Portal downloads for BDX.
15. Represent DUA Credit Control queries.
16. Attend Coverholder/MGA meetings to discuss credit control issues.
17. Assist Underwriting Assistants in managing Credit Control for DUA.
Candidate Profile
Professional Experience:
* Experience in insurance, particularly in underwriting assistance, operations, or technician roles, is required.
* Experience with DUA is highly desirable but not essential.
* Progress towards insurance professional qualifications is preferred.

* Excellent organizational skills.
* Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Sumifs), and problem-solving abilities.
* Numerate and detail-oriented.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new tasks.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
