Job Description
* Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using industrial dishwashers
* Kitchen cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas; empty rubbish bins and ensure proper waste disposal
* Food preparation – Assist chefs with basic tasks such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
* Inventory management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
* Health and safety – Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and ensure equipment is in good working order
Qualifications
* No formal education required; a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
* Physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
