We are working on behalf of our client who is recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join their local reputable company based in outside Portadown, Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the day to day administration of a busy credit/ purchase ledger function" About the Job The Accounts Assistant will play an integral role within the accounts function, you'll be responsible for completing and assisting with Pro-active debt management through phone calls and emails Allocation of cash receipts and reconciliation of customer accounts Managing internal and external queries Building and maintaining relationships with customers and other stakeholders Monitoring credit terms Preparing reports and sharing with relevant parties within company Liaising with Returns department around customer returns and associated admin Supporting the department and other team members with relevant tasks Other ad-hoc duties as they arise Experience, Skills and Attributes Strong excel skills A good team player with strong professional work ethic. Experience of Sage 50 would be preferable but not essential.
