We are a busy, committed team working together in a recently extended and refurbished Practice in Launceston.The successful candidate will work within the current team already comprising of GPs, Minor Illness Nurse and Paramedics, in addition to our Nurses and HCAs.*About Us:*We have 5 Partners and 8 Salaried GPs (including remote GPs) with very experienced Management, IT, Reception, and Administration support. We also benefit from living and working in one of the most beautiful parts of the country!*About the role:*The ideal candidate will be able to provide the full range of General Practice Nursing care.The post holder is responsible for the delivery of General Practice Nursing to the whole Practice population (around 19,000 patients), to provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as supporting the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.The focus of this role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a long-term condition and the provision of preventative health care to the patients.As an autonomous practitioner, the Practice Nurse is responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision making in the management of patients.
