Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment looking to on-board a new Field Service Engineer to service their client base acrossNorthamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area.With a competitive basic salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift engineer looking to get into a new company or an engineer from another industry who is interested in working on forklifts.
Responsibilities
* Servicing a client base acrossNorthamptonshire and the Milton Keynes areawith afocus on servicing forklift trucks
* Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment
* Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
* Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call
* Reporting back to the Regional Service Manager and teams leader in your area
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background due to the requirements of the role, however this is not essential. They will also consider candidates with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar. You will be able to work well on your own and as part of a team whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go. In terms of location, you will need to be based withinNorthamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area.
