Responsibilities
* Collaborate with police to serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees.
* Deliver high‑quality care under pressure and manage diverse clinical situations in a custody environment.
* Work across the assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area as required.
* Maintain full shift coverage (day and night) in line with the agreed roster.
* Follow a rolling rota available up to 2 years in advance.
* Have a valid driving licence to travel between sites.
Hours & Schedule
* Part‑time fixed shift: 06:45‑19:00 for day shifts and 18:45‑07:00 for night shifts.
* Team rota pattern of 2‑day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off.
* Full shifts required; part‑time staff must also cover some night shifts.
Salary & Benefits
* Annual salary: £20,500.
* Bonus: £500 upon completion of 12 months service.
* Estimated overtime: £3,500 per annum.
* NMC/HCPC registration paid.
Requirements
* RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration, 2 years post‑qualification, Band 5 minimum.
* Paramedic with 2 years post‑qualification.
* Minimum of two years’ post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing role within a relevant clinical setting (e.g., A&E, GP, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, Ambulance Service).
* Eligible to work in the UK (RTW, lived in UK, British passport or ILR for 3 years with no gaps over 3 months).
* All candidates subject to Police vetting.
