The sites includes areas of woodland, species-diverse grassland, wetland, including ponds, hedgerows, and species-specific habitat features such as hibernacula.
We currently have 2 full-time positions available; however, we would consider part-time posts for the right candidates. The posts are to commence as soon as possible and will continue until July 2026.
The role will include:
* of Ecology Works Method Statements and Risk Assessments
* to ecology licence and permit applications
* of Ecology Toolbox Talks
* ecology surveys and site work
* and monitoring of habitat management
* and auditing site work
* to the ongoing development of the habitat management plans
You will need to have a qualification in Ecology or a related field and be experienced in an Ecology Clerk of Works role (field-based and reporting). Ideally you will have protected species survey licences and will be well accustomed to using GIS technology on site. We would be interested to hear from anyone with other certifications or accreditations, such as tree climbing.
