Business Support Assistant Payroll role at City of York Council.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual into our Payroll Administrative role. This role will be based within our Payroll team but is part of the Council’s Business Support Service. The post holder will be a key member of a team that processes all the administrative tasks to support the Council’s Payroll service area. It is a fast paced environment, often with tight deadlines, therefore you will need to demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly.
Responsibilities
* Process administrative tasks to support the Council’s Payroll service area.
* Work within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
* Support the Payroll team as part of the Council’s Business Support Service.
Qualifications and Skills
* A good understanding and/or experience of using bespoke systems.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Additional Information
* Not suitable as a job share opportunity.
* Hybrid working arrangements are available. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
