Job Title: SEO Analyst
Clients: Charities and socially positive organisations.
Duration: Permanent.
Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Mon-Fri (flexible working with core hours 10am to 4pm).
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum.
Holiday: 35 days per annum inc. bank holidays. Increasing to 38 days inc. bank holidays after 2 years.
Health: BUPA family cover for permanent employees, free annual health check, free Headspace app.
Flexibility: Hybrid working and flexible hours.
Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1PS (on the Metropolitan Line outside London). Optional 2 days per week remote working.
Other perks: We enjoy getting together, attending industry conferences (like Brighton SEO), organising socials including countryside walks, fun activities at Christmas, and occasional trips such as summer parties to the Med and weekends in the New Forest. We also offer a 4-week paid sabbatical every 5 years.

SEO Analyst Position Overview
We are seeking a talented SEO Analyst with strong content writing skills and the ability to analyse website data to join our team. Reporting to the SEO Manager, you will develop and implement SEO strategies for our clients, including well-known charities. You should have an inquisitive mindset, good technical skills, a strong understanding of data, and a keen eye for detail, with a passion to make a positive impact.

The Day-to-Day
Strategy
* Working with clients to clarify priorities and objectives.
* Opportunity analysis.
* Competitor analysis.
* Building strategies and roadmaps using advanced SEO knowledge tailored for clients.
Content SEO
* Delivering organic content strategies.
* Performing keyword research, mapping, and prioritising keywords.
* Building content calendars aligned with client needs.
* Optimising on-page content and adding content where necessary.
Digital PR
* Analyzing backlink profiles and identifying effective backlink opportunities.
* Finding gaps and opportunities for guest posting and collaborations.
* Pitching outreach articles and generating newsworthy coverage ideas.
* Developing Digital PR strategies.
Technical SEO
* Reviewing websites for improvements.
* Identifying quick wins for site performance.
* Using tools like Screaming Frog and Ahrefs.
* Supporting web developers with SEO enhancements.
Reporting
* Providing monthly SEO performance reports.
* Analyzing key metrics and trends.
* Benchmarking and forecasting.
* Using Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor performance.
Client Communication
* Fostering camaraderie and transparency with clients.
* Communicating via email, phone, video, and in person.
* Responding promptly to client needs.
* Ensuring data accessibility for clients.
Requirements
* A passion for SEO with demonstrable experience.
* Excellent web copywriting skills.
* Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
* Understanding client goals and objectives.
* Technical problem-solving skills.
* Experience with leading SEO tools.
* Collaborative attitude with other departments, including Paid Media.
* Adaptability and versatility.
* Experience in an agency and with not-for-profit organisations is preferable.
