This is a permanent, part-time position (20 hours per week) based in Christchurch.
As our Hairdressing Partnerships Manager, you'll drive new business growth while nurturing strong industry partnerships. This unique dual-focus role combines strategic sales and key account management with meaningful student pastoral care, ensuring commercial success and exceptional learner outcomes.
Job Description
Key responsibilities of the role:
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the hairdressing sector
Build and manage strong relationships with salon owners and industry partners
Promote programmes through events, school visits and industry engagement
Achieve revenue targets through strategic sales planning and execution
Provide pastoral care and support to work-based learners
Monitor student progress, retention and successful programme completion

Proven business development or key account management experience
Strong connections within the hairdressing industry
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
Empathy and experience supporting learners or providing pastoral care
