Due to a colleague moving internally, we are recruiting for a Financial Consultant to work in our multisite branches of Clitheroe and Barnoldswick.
What Will You Be Doing?
* Working closely with the Financial Advisers in branch, you will keep in touch with existing financial advice customers to conduct ‘My Review’ customer appointments to update customers on products and services on a non-advised basis whilst seeking new opportunities. This may be face-to-face, virtually or by telephone.
* Engaging with customers through the ‘My Review’ appointment to understand and identify their needs by asking questions, listening to the customer’s circumstances and tailoring the relevant solution to their needs, ensuring the right outcome for the customer and the society.
* Sharing your expertise and knowledge with the rest of the branch team.
* Using internal systems to ensure that a customer’s records are accurately maintained and up to date, while identifying and supporting vulnerable customers appropriately.
* Adhering to and understanding the policies, standards, controls and limits of authority applicable to your role, supported by training and coaching.
What Do We Need From You?
* Previous experience of developing relationships with customers in a customer service or sales environment, whether face to face or over the phone.
* Experience in a Financial Services environment is beneficial.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile to help colleagues and customers achieve business objectives.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, ask appropriate questions and engage in purposeful conversation.
* Experience in inspiring, motivating and coaching others to drive performance with a ‘one-team’ mindset.
* Ability to stay calm and manage time effectively when the day gets busy, handling a variety of customers.
* Ability to grow, adapt and change to accommodate business needs and priorities.
