Job Vacancy: Group Piano Tutor (Self-Employed)
Do you have a big personality, a love for music, and a knack for inspiring children? We're looking for a vibrant, energetic piano tutor to lead exciting group piano sessions in primary schools.
This isn't just about scales and exam pieces (though we do love ABRSM) — it's about making music fun, creative, and confidence-building for every child.
What you'll do:
Lead fun, structured piano lessons in small groups.
Prepare children for ABRSM grades while keeping sessions playful and engaging.
Spark creativity, teamwork, and joy through music.
Celebrate every little win with students, parents, and schools.
Always put safeguarding first, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child.
What we're looking for:
* A confident pianist with ABRSM knowledge.
* Someone who shines in front of groups of children.
* A positive, lively personality who can make learning fun.
* Organised, reliable, and happy to work self-employed.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
What you'll get:
Flexible working hours during school time.
A supportive, creative team cheering you on.
The chance to inspire the next generation of pianists.
If you can make a group of children fall in love with the piano (and maybe even look forward to scales) — while keeping safeguarding at the heart of your teaching — we'd love to hear from you
