The Role
* Operate baler machinery for cardboard and plastic recycling
* Collect and sort pallets by type and condition
* Build roll cages and prepare outbound loads
* Sort, load, and move goods within the warehouse
* De-kit vehicles and process returned goods
* Use powered pallet trucks (PPT) to move materials and recycling
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Follow all site health & safety policies and procedures
The Candidate
* Experienced Warehouse Operative or previous reverse logistics experience
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
* Physically capable with a positive attitude
* MHE experience preferably but not essential
* Excellent attention to detail
* Counterbalance FLT experience (expired or in-house licences considered)
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong health & safety awareness and adhering to compliance policies at all times
* Flexible approach to work
* Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
Hours of Work
* Shift pattern: 06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00
* 4 on / 4 off rotation
* Weekend work required
* Day and night shifts available
* Opportunity to take on additional shifts
Pay Rates (First 12 Weeks)
* £13.00 per hour - Days (flat rate)
* £15.00 per hour - Nights (uplifted rate)
