Salary: From £35,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate: Wolverhampton, WV14 (reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work – required)
Work Location: In person – Large 7 Surgery Practice (Private and NHS)
Experience: Dental Practice Management: 3 years (required)
Medical Practice Management: 3 years (preferred)
Responsibilities
* Operations Management:
o Ensure seamless and efficient practice operations across all seven surgeries, prioritizing optimal patient care and satisfaction.
o Coordinate schedules for dentists, hygienists, and support staff, ensuring smooth workflow and adequate coverage.
o Implement and enforce practice policies to maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
o Monitor and manage dental supplies and equipment inventory to ensure availability and functionality.
* Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead and motivate a diverse team of dental professionals and support staff, cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment.
o Conduct regular staff meetings, provide guidance and support, and address performance or disciplinary matters when necessary.
o Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
o Promote teamwork, open communication, and a strong customer service culture within the practice.
* Patient Relations:
o Maintain exceptional patient satisfaction by promptly addressing enquiries, concerns, and complaints.
o Monitor patient feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall patient experience.
o Foster strong patient relationships and ensure the delivery of quality dental care in line with industry standards and best practices.
* Regulatory Compliance:
o Stay informed about dental regulations, guidelines, and best practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, including patient files, staff credentials, and certifications.
o Coordinate with external agencies and authorities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager, preferably in a large and multi-surgery practice setting.
* In-depth knowledge of dental practice management, operations, and regulatory requirements.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
* Familiarity with dental software (SOE) and practice management systems.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
