We’re hiring an IT Business Reporting Analyst to join a growing retail organisation at a key transformation point.
This is an urgent replacement hire and the role offers the chance to take ownership of the reporting and data platform while leading a major modernisation programme — including migrating from a legacy SQL data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric.
If you enjoy combining hands-on BI/reporting work with data platform improvement and strategy, this role offers real ownership and visibility across the business.
Responsibilities
* Lead the migration from a legacy SQL data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric
* Redesign and remodel the data structure and business rules
* Maintain and optimise the current SQL Server + Power BI reporting environment
* Define future data strategy, governance and best practices
* Partner with stakeholders across Retail, Operations and Finance
* Support future advanced analytics/ML initiatives where relevant
What They’re Looking For
Experience deploying and maintaining reporting solutions
Interest in building predictive or advanced analytics solutions
Power BI is essential. Tableau experience is fine if you’re happy to transition. Cloud (AWS/Azure) experience is helpful but not required.
