The Role of a Service Advisor
1. Evaluate customer needs regarding servicing or repair requirements, in line with Vehicle Health Checks.
2. Ensure the customer is aware of all applicable costs and the progress of repairs in a timely manner, while competently handling objections.
3. Coordinate internally with workshop colleagues to progress the vehicle through the service process.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service to achieve customer satisfaction objectives, adhering to manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.
5. Maintain accurate customer details to ensure the customer database is up to date.
6. Stay informed about additional products and services to better assist customers.
7. Work in line with all service and warranty policies of both the group and manufacturer.
Skills & Experience Needed to Succeed as a Service Advisor
* Previous customer service experience is preferable.
* Ability to deliver first-class service to achieve company and manufacturer objectives.
* Self-motivated with experience in achieving targets.
* Confident and professional communication skills.
