We’re partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed professional services group (name confidential) with a multi-entity structure and a clear trajectory toward a planned PE exit in 2026. With strong backing, ambitious leadership, and a collaborative culture, this is a standout opportunity for a commercially-minded Financial Controller looking to operate at Group level.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of financial control across multiple subsidiaries, partnering closely with Managing Directors and senior stakeholders to enhance performance, standardise reporting, and support strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead monthly close, consolidations, and reporting across entities
* Deliver high-quality insights to support commercial decision-making
* Own audit processes and strengthen financial controls
* Partner with leadership on profitability, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
* Build and standardise reporting frameworks across the Group
* Support board reporting and investor-level analysis
What We’re Looking For
* ACA / ACCA qualified, trained in practice
* 4+ years post-qualified experience
* Currently in (or recently from) a PE-backed professional services business
* Strong Group / multi-entity exposure
* Background in audit or professional services
* Technically strong (UK GAAP / IFRS) with excellent Excel & modelling skills
* Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and lead teams
