PAYROLL ADVISOR - 12 MONTH FTC - JANUARY 2026 START - UP TO £38k - BRISTOL - HYBRID WORKING

Robert Half are delighted to be working with a dynamic client who are looking for a full-time Payroll Advisor for a 12 month FTC to start in January 2026 offering up to £38k and hybrid working!

Things to know:

1. Job Title: Payroll Advisor (12-month FTC)
2. Location: Bristol (hybrid working)
3. Salary: Up to £38k
4. Start date: January 2026

Responsibilities:

5. Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
6. Maintain and control amendments to employee pay, including International Mobile Employees (IME).
7. Calculate and prepare international salary, tax, and pension payments.
8. Reconcile payroll data and provide returns and associated payments to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Support employees with payroll-related queries, delivering excellent customer service across all levels.
10. Liaise with third-party payroll providers and complete ad hoc tasks accurately and on time.

Requirements:

11. Previous experience of managing large payrolls with differing levels of complexity.
12. Knowledge of Tax & NI rules for UK & IMEs (International mobile employees).
13. High level of attention to detail.
14. Ability to work quickly & accurately under pressures to meet deadlines.
15. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within the organisation and externally.
16. Adaptable and able to quickly react to changing priorities.
17. Formal qualification preferable but more important is the ability to understand how to calculate pay.
18. Great organisational skills - prioritising your workload and working independently, whilst also being a brilliant team player.
