Your new role
Reporting to the Vice President, Asset Management, the Real Estate Coordinator will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and general support to the Asset Management team. It requires a strong professional attitude, the ability to handle information of a confidential nature and will work with other departments of thepany such as Legal, Finance, Development and Construction. Key duties include handling confidential administrative tasks, interacting with senior contacts, and supporting Asset and Property Management with updates and assessments. They provide administrative support to senior management, coordinate real estate contracts, and prepare various documents. The role also involves maintaining filing systems, planning meetings and events, collaborating on lease negotiations, and assisting with lease renewals. Additionally, they support the development of shopping centers, ensure properties meet operational goals, assist with budgets and financial tracking, and coordinate construction projects. General office administration is also key to this role.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in property management or a related field, with strong fundamentals and interpersonal skills. They excel at multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced team environment, and possess strong organizational, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Advanced proficiency in MS, along with knowledge of Yardi property management software and lease administration, are valuable assets. Previous administrative experience in real estate or development is preferred, and a strong passion for real estate and career growth within the organization is essential.
