SEMH School / Alternative Provision
A small, growing and increasingly popular SEMH school and alternative provision in the Thatcham/Tilehurst area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 (or equivalent) Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
* Provide high-quality support to students with SEMH needs
* Work in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to deliver personalised learning
* Foster positive relationships that build trust, confidence and resilience
* Assist with behaviour support using consistent, supportive and restorative approaches
* Work collaboratively with teachers, mentors and pastoral staff
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and motivating learning environment
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification)
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs or barriers to learning
* A calm, patient and emotionally resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine commitment to helping young people achieve positive outcomes
