Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable serverless web applications using frameworks like Next.js.
* Ensure code quality with clean, maintainable code focusing on performance, security, scalability, and reliability. Use version control and branching strategies effectively.
* Execute software solutions, troubleshoot, and think beyond routine approaches to resolve technical challenges.
* Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 to build efficient, cost-effective, and scalable solutions. Opportunities to gain AWS certification during probation.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features. Participate actively in technical discussions.
* Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
* Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve products and processes.
* Contribute to engineering communities and share knowledge.
* Mentor and develop team members.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
* Significant and proven commercial software engineering experience.
* Experience with TypeScript, React (preferably Next.js), and related front-end technologies.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and ability to work under deadlines.
* Passion for learning and evolving technologies.
* Familiarity with Agile practices and tools.
* Beneficial: working knowledge of AWS.
