Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Paediatric Team in Rotherham. This full‑time locum position offers an ASAP start and ongoing work across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive paediatric assessments, including administering Movement ABC‑2, VMI, and TVPS
* Develop personalised intervention plans to support children’s developmental needs and improve quality of life
* Collaborate closely with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive care
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress
* Actively engage with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies for holistic patient care
Requirements
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Minimum of two years’ experience in paediatrics
* Ability to work across multiple sites; a confident car driver is preferable
* Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
