Intervention Tutor role at Targeted Provision. Core subject tutoring (Maths, English, or Science) for young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs in Berkshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing.
Responsibilities
 * Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
 * Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journey
 * Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
 * Plan each tutoring/mentoring session and deliver engaging, needs-based sessions
 * Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
 * Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
 * Minimum 2 years teaching experience
 * Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
 * Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
 * Enhanced DBS (assistance to obtain at cost if needed)
 * Two professional references
 * Based in the UK with right to work in the UK, including for remote/online assignments
Employment Status
 * Worker engagement for short-term engagements as they arise
 * Contract for service; paid via PAYE
 * No set amount of work or expenses coverage
 * Company insurance covers work you do for us
 * Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
