Salary: Up to £30,000 Location: Manchester City Centre Contract: Temporary Overview: We are currently partnering with a International in Manchester City Centre who are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑focused and proactive individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities: Processing high‑volume purchase invoices accurately and in line with company policies Matching, batching, and coding invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly Managing the AP inbox and responding to internal and external queries Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs Ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately in the finance system Supporting month‑end activities, including accruals and reporting Liaising with suppliers to maintain strong working relationships Assisting the wider finance team with ad‑hoc duties as required Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role (essential) Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing invoices Confident working with high‑volume transactions Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems Excellent communication skills with a proactive and professional approach Ability to manage workload efficiently in a deadline‑driven environment What's on Offer Competitive salary up to £30,000 (pro‑rata) Prime Manchester City Centre location with excellent transport links Supportive team environment Opportunity to build experience within a reputable organisation What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
