Business Development Manager - Nuclear Engineering Services
SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the development and acquisition of new business within the nuclear engineering sector. This role involves full P&L responsibility, including revenue and margin management, and requires a comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle.
1. Market and Customer Understanding: Develop and execute strategies based on market insights and customer needs.
2. Lead Generation: Utilize direct sales, marketing, and thought leadership to generate interest and leads.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and challenges.
4. Sales and Proposal Development: Craft compelling sales pitches and tailored value propositions, write proposals, and respond to RFQs to position SEGULA as the preferred supplier.
5. Account Management: Engage at all levels within client organizations, from engineering managers to directors, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
6. Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, including CRM updates and progress reporting.
7. Additional Responsibilities: Maintain excellent customer relations post-project to foster ongoing partnerships.
Candidates should have recruitment experience within a well-known customer network, several years of engineering experience, and a background in business development with an existing customer network. The role requires a self-starter attitude, excellent communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment. A valid driving license and willingness to travel within Europe and the UK are essential.

Position Details
Location: Derby, with one day per week on customer sites and the remainder remote
