Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Our client is a growing engineering and manufacturing business that supplies advanced electric heating and cable systems to global industrial and energy markets. They are now looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support the smooth flow of materials across production and logistics at their Deeside site.

Hours : Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm
This is a key role for someone who is organised, detail focused and confident working in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting production with materials movement, and ensuring all documentation and communication is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming deliveries from suppliers and carriers
Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists
Carry out goods inward inspections, including testing raw materials
Record received items in the inventory management system with accurate documentation
Manage pick lists from production and process materials as required
Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure all dispatch documentation is correct
Coordinate collections with shipping carriers to meet required deadlines
Maintain a clean, safe and organised shipping and receiving area
Complete all relevant ERP system transactions (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus)
Support periodic inventory counts and reconciliation activities
Liaise with colleagues across the UK, US and Oman, as well as suppliers and carriers
Follow all safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture
Carry out additional duties to support wider operations when required
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in shipping, receiving or warehouse operations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Confident using inventory management systems and computers
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (Training will be provided)
Ability to lift and move heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external carriers
A safety conscious approach and ability to maintain a clean working environment
Experience analysing large data sets is an advantage
GCSEs in Mathematics and English
