What’s involved?
As the Director of Operations, you will have total oversight of the “non-golf” business, acting as a peer to the Director of Golf and reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
6. Business Leadership: Accountable for the day-to-day administration and hospitality functions. You will be the primary driver of the Club’s financial objectives and forward management plans.
7. Hospitality & F&B Growth: Deliver a 25% annual growth target in F&B. You will develop a vibrant social calendar and maximise the use of the Club’s event spaces for members and private conferencing.
8. Financial Management: Work with the Finance Director to manage the £1.5m turnover. You will oversee P&L, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and ensure all “value for money” cost reductions are identified.
9. Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and restructure the hospitality and admin teams. You will be responsible for HR compliance, payroll, and creating a high-performance service culture.
10. Compliance & Governance: Act as the lead for Health & Safety, insurance, and legal frameworks (Companies Acts), managing relationships with auditors, bankers, and legal advisors.
