Homeowner Services Officer Eastleigh | £36,986 per annum | 37 hours per week | Permanent, Full TimeAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Homeowner Services Officer to join a specialist residential services team in Eastleigh.This role involves managing a portfolio of leasehold, freehold and shared ownership properties, providing specialist housing advice and supporting all aspects of leasehold management.Key Responsibilities
* Manage leasehold and shared ownership properties
* Handle service charge enquiries and disputes
* Investigate breaches of lease and covenant issues
* Support lease extensions, enfranchisement and assignments
* Work closely with legal teams on leasehold matters
* Provide advice on leasehold legislation and housing management
* Manage challenging situations professionally and effectively
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in housing, leasehold or residential property management
* Knowledge of shared ownership and homeowner services
* Understanding of leasehold legislation including:
o Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
o Landlord and Tenant legislation
o Building Safety Act 2022
* Experience managing service charges, lease extensions and breach of covenants
* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Essential Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to own vehicle
